Sparrow is a feisty little fluff ball with a personality that instantly brings to mind the mischievous kittens from The Aristocats — a tiny “I’m an alley cat… ffft, ffft!” attitude wrapped up in one incredibly lovable Maine Coon.

Raised with a family member in Branson, Sparrow has had the benefit of growing up alongside playmates about a month older than him. Keeping up with the bigger kittens has helped him develop his confidence and play skills early, and he certainly isn’t afraid to hold his own! Underneath all that playful swagger, though, Sparrow is an extremely friendly, affectionate little boy who absolutely loves his humans.

Sparrow and his sister, Calypso, are Giorgi’s first litter. While they waited for their mother’s milk to fully come in, the babies were hand supplemented and received plenty of extra hands-on care. Sparrow learned very early that people mean warmth, comfort and love, and that early bond is still very evident in his wonderfully people-oriented personality.

His parents are both gorgeous Maine Coons, and Sparrow appears to have inherited something special from each of them.

His striking high-smoke coat and beautiful blue eyes come from his impressive father, Casper, a giant blue-eyed male with an equally wonderful nature. If Sparrow inherits even half of Casper’s sweet temperament, he is going to grow into a truly special Maine Coon.

His mother, Giorgi, is a very fancy black smoke who has shared her beautiful coat texture, intelligence, intense gaze and strong natural instincts with her little boy. Between the two of them, Sparrow has been given a pretty impressive start.

The combination has produced a very exciting little fella. Sparrow already has presence, personality and that unmistakable Maine Coon charm. While no breeder can guarantee exactly how a kitten will mature, he has tremendous potential to develop into a large, impressive adult with a wonderful temperament.

The family member raising Sparrow says they would happily keep this little character forever if they could! His sister, Calypso, will be staying with them and will remain a special part of the Brushy Kreek family and our program. As much as they would love to keep Sparrow too, unfortunately we simply can’t keep them all.

Now it’s Sparrow’s turn to find his own family and become a huge part of somebody’s world. With his feisty personality, affectionate nature, beautiful blue eyes and clouds of high-smoke fluff, we have a feeling he’ll have absolutely no trouble doing exactly that.
